While I live in California, my parents are still in Honduras working... trying to raise the standard of living in a third world country, trying to make it a better place. Right now, I'm unable to donate large amounts of $ to their cause, but I have started a "Simple Things" charity where I sell bracelets and send a percentage of the proceeds back to them. I don't expect them to use this money to build houses or to dig wells, but I have asked that they use it to buy simple things (shoes, back packs, toys, etc.) for the kids. They've been happily doing this for over a year.
The bracelets come in four colors: Red, Blue, Pink, and Black. Each bracelet is embossed with the text "TAKE PRIDE IN LITTLE VICTORIES," a lyric from my song, "Simple Things."
